Boho Background

This is the first card I made using the Boho Background stamp set and the Berry Bliss Designer Paper from the new catalogue. I absolutely love the Close to Cocoa and the Purely Pomegranate together! So much so I am running out of both Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip cardstock.

So Many Scallops

Here is one of the cards I made using the Sale-a-Bration set So Many Scallops. I also used the SAB set Lots of Thoughts and the Polka Dot background set. The vase was made using a chipboard petal covered with Apricot Appeal. I really love these colours together and I love how easy it is to just punch out the stamp images.

Club Card - Friendship Blooms

This is the second card we made at Tara's using the Sale-a-bration set Friendship Blooms, my personal favourite SAB set. I can't wait to make a card using this set and the SAB rub-on which I just got yesterday. Club members note that I forgot the red ribbon when I brought them to Tara's so there isn't any red ribbon in the envelope. Oops!

Club Card

This is one of the cards we made at Tara's at the Stampers 8 meeting. All the pieces are stamped out for you if you missed this meeting and they are loose in the envelope. This is what the finished project looked like!

Embrace life once again....

Another card using the Embrace Life set. I absolutely love these flowers. They remind me a lot of a hostess set that was in an old catalogue. Of course I can never get enough of flowers. I really am trying to limit myself and trying not to buy any more flower stamps for a while. Of course since I limited myself in buying flower stamps I had to go out and buy the Pretties flowers and the felt flowers in the SU catalogue. Now if only I had time to play with them!

Celebrate

Another one of my recent favourite cards. I have a really hard time making something that looks a bit masculine. It's especially great when I can use a really girly stamp set like Embrace Life and turn it into a card I can give to someone other than a girl.

Embrace Life

Embrace Life, one of my new favourite stamp sets makes such beautiful cards I thought I would post a few of the ones I made over the next few days. This card uses Purely Pomegranate, River rock and Basic Gray inks and a blender pen. So easy to make and it makes such a beautiful card that can be used for almost all occasions.

I think it's been one of the worst weeks of my life. Letting Sam go was much harder than I thought it would be and I am filled with so many emotions, extreme guilt, sadness, regret and lonliness. I still hear him moving around the house and I keep finding little puffs of his fur (which I am sure I will find for years to come) Each one brings me to tears because I think I would give anything to see him again. I think he had a good almost 15 years, he grew up with me. He loved a good game of fetch and also loved to play catch the dog, even on a busy street. He liked his coffee double double and also loved a good pillow.

This is an older picture, how I like to remember him before his body started failing him. I will never forget you Sam. You were a great dog and I miss you.
